CHARTER

NEW MEMBERS

Membership in S.U.N. starts on the first of the month in which we receive
your new member dues. You will be issued a membership card with your I.D.
Number. The last four digits of your I.D. Number shows the month that your
membership did start. Unless a dramatic rise in operating costs occurs,
your annual renewal will be equal to the membership dues in the year you
first joined. Please use your I.D. Number on any correspondence with us.

PROGRAM EXCHANGE

For the sake of simplicity, program lines (excluding REM statements) will
be counted for each program. Starting when you send in your application,
you will receive credit for 40 program lines for each month that you are a
member. If you get a new member to join our club you will receive 200
1ines credit.

Getting Credit

1. For every month you are a member — 40 lines

2. For every new member — 200 lines

3. For every program submitted — 1/2 credit on total lines

4. Purchasing lines — *.025 per line

If you should lose track of your credits, we will always keep a running
total in our files and 3 times per year the number will be listed on the
back page of your newsletter in the bottom, left-hand corner.

Submitting Programs

All programs will be reviewed and tested before they are added to our
files. If the program contains major errors it wi11 be returned to you for
additional debugging. When accepted, you will receive your line credits.
If you send your program in on tape, you have the option of us holding your
tape until you want new programs sent to you, or we will send the tape back
to you without any changes for $1.09.

Taking Delivery of Programs

Paper listing — there is no additional charge for a paper listing of a
program. Any charge will be based only on your credits vs. the length of
the program desired.

Cassette tape — send your own cassette and $1.09 for shipping and handling
or for $2.09 we will provide the tape (this includes shipping and
handl i ng) .

NEWSLETTER BULLETINS

Newsletters will be published 6 time per year — Jan., Mar.,

Sept., Nov. Bulletins will be sent in the months in between.

I-f you wish to receive back issues, our January and March newletters
are available -for $1.50 each, and the February bulletin is $0.50.
Prices include postage - please, U.S. -funds only!

We real ly want input -from a. 1 1 our members -for our newsletters and
bulletins so helpful hints, ideas, experiences with, and questions
about our computers are most welcome. Please remember to include
your I.D. number with all correspondence.

Our program file is growing rapidly with member contributions. On the
bottom of this page is a program release form that allows us to copy
you r pr ogram for the u se of S.U.M. members on 1y. PI ease save it until
you're ready to submit a program, then send it along to us. Only one
release is necessary no matter how many programs you send in, or when,
as long as the release a cc omp a n i e s the first s ubm i ssion.
